1.How to Apply

Admission

Application Procedure:

Applicants must submit the application form, which can either be obtained from the Foreign Affairs Office or downloaded from: Application Form for Degree Study (Click to download)

Entry Qualifications

Applicants must submit the following materials together with the application fee of RMB400 to GDUT.

1>Doctoral Degree Study: Application Form, with HSK3 Certificate or above. Diploma, Certificate, Student Academic Records, two Letters of Recommendation written by associate professor or above.

2>Master Degree Study: Application Form, with HSK3 Certificate or above, Diploma, Certificate, Student Academic Records, two Letters of Recommendation written by associate professor or above.

3>Undergraduate Study: Application Form, with HSK3 Certificate or above, High School Certificate, Student Academic Record.

4>Chinese Language Study: Application Form, with junior high school certificate or above.

Length of program

Undergraduate programs: 4 years;

Master's programs: 3 years;

Doctoral programs: 3 years.

With the Admission Letter issued by GDUT and Form JW202, successful applicants must apply for a visa at the Chinese embassy or consulates in your country.

2. Tuition & Accommodation

Accommodation

The University ensures quality accommodation specifically designed for the needs of foreign students, with reasonable fees and a comfortable environment.

Tuition Fee

Degree Study:

RMB22000 /year for doctor's degree study;

RMB20000 /year for master's degree study;

RMB18000 /year for bachelor's degree study;

RMB26000/year for bachelor of Fine Arts' degree study.

Chinese Language Training: RMB2300/month; RMB6000/3 months; RMB8000/semester; RMB16000/year

Accommodation

Single Room: RMB 1000/month

Double Room: RMB 1200-1500/month

Notes

1>Application fee: RMB 400(NOT REFUNDABLE).

2>Cafeteria: Campus cafeterias serve a variety of Chinese food every day.  Depending on personal tastes, the cost would be about RMB15 / day /person.

3>Teaching Materials: students may purchase books and materials at campus bookstores for reasonable prices.

4>Residence Visa Fee: the fee for a residence permit will be as prescribed by law or policy.

These fees are subject to change, depending on the Exchange Rate of People's Bank of China.
