The School of Continuing Education is the administrative department in charge of degree-oriented education and non-degree training programs for adult students. At present, there are 39 teachers and over 12,000 students in the School.
The School offers such programs as junior college education, bachelor's degree education, teach-yourself examination, and in-service training. Various majors are available to the students, featuring popular programs ranging from science and engineering to economy and management, from foreign languages to arts and design. For teach-yourself examination there is one major available to students.
Various non-degree education programs for adult students are available, including short-term training programs for English and computer proficiency tests, pre-examination tutoring, and professional training and qualification appraisal. The College is one of the earliest departments in the province for undertaking professional training and qualification appraisal. The present programs focus on the training and qualification appraisal of technicians and electricians at different levels, as well as on the Hi-Tech professional qualification appraisal.
