The 8th Asia-Pacific Conference on Materials Processing co-organized by Guangdong University of Technology, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, The University of New South Wales, National Natural Science Foundation of China and Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society was held in Guilin and Guangzhou from JUNE 16 to 20.
It was a grand conference in material processing fields, aiming to provide a platform for scholars from home and abroad to discuss and exchange the latest developments of discipline. More than 200 experts, scholars and students from 10 plus countries and regions including America, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Australia, Thailand, Iran, Hong kong, Taiwan, India and Singapore gathered together to demonstrate the latest research achievements and discuss academic developments, leaving a far-reaching impact on promoting exchange, cooperation and development in Materials Processing. By organizing the conference, it was also intended to spur the development of materials processing in GDUT as well as in Guangdong province. More than 200 papers, keynote and invited speeches in materials processing were presented at the conference, and around one hundred papers would be published in international journals such as JMPT, etc. |
