The GDUT delegation headed by Vice President Prof. Chen Xin paid its visits to Prince of Songlkla University in Thailand, National University of Hanoi and Viettronics Technology College in Vietnam from May 21 to 26. PSU President Mr. Boonsom Siribumrungsukha, VP Mr. Phichit Rerngsangvatana and VP Mr. Chatchai Ratanachai met the delegates during the delegation¡¯s stay in Prince of Songlkla University. The two sides reviewed the cooperative program over the past ten years, and reached a consensus on expanding and deepening cooperation areas. Delegates also visited PSU faculties and schools, exchanged views with Thai staff members concerning detailed cooperative programs.

The delegation' visits to the two Vietnamese universities fell on May 25 and 26. VP Prof. Chen Xin discussed issues concerning student exchange programs and joint educational programs with his counterparts in Vietnam. Detailed plans were drafted for concrete running of those programs.

Throughout the delegations' visits in Thailand and Vietnam, teachers and students in the three universities showed their great concerns over the quake victims in Wenchuan, China, and expressed forwarded wishes to the quake stricken people via the delegation.
