A computer and an LCD projector are available at each presentation room.
Oral Presentation
Please read this APCMP 2008 Final Program for the times and technical session of the conference. The Session Chair may re-schedule the presentation times within a session if necessary.
The Session Chair may ring a bell once your presentation has passed 10 minutes. You should make a suitable conclusion of your presentation by then.
Presentations should preferably be done using Powerpoint. Please copy your PPT file to the computer in your session before the session beginning. The preferred times for presenters to load their files to the computers are during coffee-breaks and lunches. An assistant will be available to help with transferring your file.
To minimize possible technical problems, we request all presenters to save their presentation to a USB storage device in a format that can be read by Powerpoint on a window-based PC.
Presenters are requested to submit a short biographic note (about 100 words) outlining your background and research interests to your Session Chair at the beginning of the session.
Registration
Every one attending the conference, including the accompanying persons of the attendee is expected to register and pay the registration fee. Each registered attendee will receive a conference package, which includes an APCMP 2008 badge, the conference proceedings, the coupons for meals and the Final Program.
Please confirm the registered visiting activities for 18th, 19th, and 20th June with the secretary desk on 15th June.
Accommodation
In Guilin Royal Garden Hotel the room fee will be paid by the attendee at the hotel reception counter; while in Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel the room fee will be paid to YCZL Travel Agents by RMB Yuan by the attendee.

Please show waiter/ waitress the coupons for meal.

Conference welcome banquet on 16 June: Participants will be picked up from Guilin Royal Garden Hotel at 18:00.
Conference lunch at 12:00, dinner at 18:00: Garden caf¨¦; 1st Floor;
Conference dinner on 19 June for the participants attending the Guangzhou part of the conference will be informed on 18 June.

2 Final Manuscript and Copyright Transmission:
All authors with accepted papers must submit their final manuscripts, Publication Agreement on or before April 30, 2008 to have their full-length papers published in the conference proceedings (ISBN: 978-0-9580692-9-8 CD-ROM).
Please complete and sign the Publication Agreement form and return by email to apcmp2008@gdut.edu.cn (in PDF file please) or faxing to +86-20-37627005. Failure to do so may result in your papers bein Papers that are not presented in the conference will not be considered for publication in any journal.
3 Registration:
Papers that are not presented in the conference will not be considered for publication in any journal.
Registrations received by May 1, 2008 are eligible for the "Early Bird" rate. "On Site" registration must be paid in cash.
Authors are strongly encouraged to send in their registration forms with their hotel booking forms.
If you choose to do on-site registration, you must book your hotel accommodation before May 15, 2008.

4 Hotel Reservation:
For conference discount hotel rates, we recommend you to stay in Guilin Royal Garden Hotel in Guilin, and stay in Baiyun Hotel in Guangzhou. Please complete and sign the two hotel reservation forms. The deadline for hotel reservations is June 1, 2008. Rooms will be allocated on a ¡°first -come first-served¡± basis; reservations made after the deadline will be subject to availability.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a 1-night deposit payable to PAC/NUS by credit card, irrespective of which hotel you reserve. All requests for changes and cancellations with regard to reservations made should be sent to the Conference Secretariat.
